More Than a Brand — A Movement

Jesus My Rock is more than a clothing brand — it is a movement created to spark faith-filled conversations and inspire believers to be bold witnesses for Jesus Christ.

We exist to encourage believers to wear their faith boldly, stand firm on God’s truth, and point hearts back to Christ. Every design is created with heart and purpose — to spread the Gospel and strengthen the body of Christ.

Our Mission

Our mission at Jesus My Rock is to create faith-based apparel that not only shares the message of the Gospel, but strengthens believers, empowers them to boldly proclaim their faith, and sparks meaningful conversations about Jesus wherever they go.

We are here to proclaim to the world that Jesus is the solid Rock on which we can stand and build our lives. He is our unshakable foundation in every season. He is faithful, steadfast, and will never leave nor forsake us.

Our Story

Jesus My Rock was inspired on January 13th, 2024, during one of the most difficult seasons of founder Whitney Large’s life.

Although Whitney had returned to Christ in July 2023 and was baptized in September 2023, she was still learning what it truly meant to trust Him. She was being refined, healed, restored, and sanctified daily — yet her sense of security was still tied to worldly stability, especially financial security.

At first, the vision for Jesus My Rock was influenced by a desire for financial stability during a difficult season. Though the idea was inspired by faith, her heart was still learning what it meant to fully trust God as her provider. In His faithfulness, He did not allow the brand to launch prematurely.

He was building something deeper first — trust.

Jesus My Rock was never meant to be just a statement or a source of income, but a way of life built on faith, obedience, and surrender.

Over the course of more than a year, as Whitney grew deeper in her walk with Jesus, God placed her in situations that stretched her faith and strengthened her trust in Him. Through this refining season, she became firmly rooted in Christ and fully surrendered every aspect of her life to Him — her career, her future, financial security, her love life, and the vision for Jesus My Rock.

Throughout 2025, she continually received confirmations and gentle nudges from the Holy Spirit, calling her to step out in faith and trust God completely. Yet she wrestled with doubt and fear, questioning how everything would work out without anything directly lined up. She wondered how long her savings would last, whether the brand would truly succeed, and even what others might think of her for leaving her job to pursue it.

At times, discouraging thoughts tried to convince her to play it safe. But what once felt uncertain gradually became clear. The fear that once held her back was replaced with courage and faith rooted in trust.

During this season, God deepened Whitney’s friendship with her sister in Christ, Grace. Grace had received a vision from the Lord for a ministry of her own, one she had also been holding onto. When they discovered they were in similar seasons and that God had placed ministries on both of their hearts, they began faithfully meeting each week — approaching their callings with intention.

Their business meetings often became prayer-filled discussions where they sought the Lord, poured into one another, worked on their ministries, built their websites, and held each other accountable in stewarding what God had entrusted to them. Grace believed in Whitney and the vision for Jesus My Rock, continually encouraging her to walk in obedience. Grace’s faithfulness and consistency became a powerful confirmation that this calling was real — and that it was time to move forward.

Building Jesus My Rock and stepping out in faith alongside Grace was one of the greatest blessings of Whitney’s journey.

The final confirmation came when Whitney shared with her younger sister that she was considering stepping away from her job to launch her brand, release her album, and pursue full-time ministry. Her younger sister responded with unexpected affirmation — sharing that she and their mother had been talking about this very step and praying for it, and that they believed in both her calling and the vision for Jesus My Rock. They even offered to support her financially during that season if needed.

In that moment, Whitney was speechless. She felt deeply supported, covered in prayer, and overwhelmed with gratitude that her family believed in the vision God had placed on her heart.

With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, she knew the brand was finally ready to be released.

On August 8th, 2025, Whitney officially launched Jesus My Rock.

What made it even more special was that Grace and Whitney launched their projects on the same day — a beautiful reminder that God was writing a bigger story than either of them could see. 

Stepping away from her full-time jobs and choosing to fully trust God as her provider, she took a leap of faith that boldly declared: “Jesus is my Rock.” She even wore her brand as a declaration on her final official workday.

Since that moment, God has faithfully provided every single month.
Every bill paid. Every need met. Every step sustained.

What began in struggle became surrender.
What began in survival became obedience.

From Lukewarm to On Fire

Whitney’s journey has been one of transformation.

After nearly a decade away from church, God called her back in 2023. Through surrender, repentance, and renewal, she experienced healing, restoration, and a new identity and purpose rooted in Christ.

From being a lukewarm Christian to boldly proclaiming the Gospel, Whitney now lives fully on fire for Jesus. She understands what it means to build her life on Christ alone. With a heart to tell the world about Jesus so others can experience Him for themselves, her passion is simple and unwavering:

To spread the message of Christ and remind others that true security is found in Him alone.
